Only the workspace's owner can delete it. The **Delete this workspace** section is at the bottom of the workspace's **General** settings page.

Deleting a workspace removes it for every member, at once. Its workflows, scheduled sends, assistant conversations and pending invites are erased, along with its settings for each mailbox, calendar and drive.

## What is kept

The mailboxes, calendars and drives themselves are not deleted. They stay connected on the accounts of the people who connected them, and keep working in their other workspaces. Nothing changes at the providers.

## Delete the workspace

1. Open the workspace menu at the top of the left rail and choose **General**.
2. Scroll to **Delete this workspace**.
3. Type the workspace's exact name into the box that asks you to confirm it.
4. Click **Delete workspace**.
5. A dialog titled "Delete" followed by the workspace's name asks you to confirm. Enter your authenticator code and click **Delete workspace**.

Metis Suite then takes you to your default workspace.

## You cannot delete your only workspace

If this is your only workspace, the page says "You can't delete your only workspace." and the delete controls are hidden. Create another workspace first if you want to delete this one. See [Create a workspace](/guide/workspaces/create-a-workspace).

## If you connected an Outlook account

The delete section reminds you that anyone who connected Outlook should also remove Metis Suite from their personal or work or school Microsoft account. See [Outlook accounts: finish at Microsoft](/guide/workspaces/manage-connected-accounts#outlook-accounts-finish-at-microsoft).
